  • Scientific and professional training of university teachers is one of the basic characteristics of their occupation. The involvement in project preparation and the work on research and professional projects enable the inestimable access to the desired and needed knowledge within the field of research. I take the work on the project applications, regardless of their success, and especially the work on projects that won funding, as the opportunity to make new connections that can result with new ideas and that enable the exchange of knowledge. Moreover, it is the opportunity to boost the cohesion of the Faculty staff and to strengthen relationships.

Assoc. Prof. Igor Balaban, Ph. D.

    Vice-Dean for Scientific Research

  • Understanding the ideas, preparation and writing of the project application, as well as the realisation of the project idea is above all – teamwork. Without the motivated team members, the realisation of the project will be a success. By accomplishing the project goals together, the team proves that the quality of the team goes beyond the qualities of its individuals and that is the only guarantee of success. And the experience of working in such interconnected and motivated teams is priceless.

Assoc. Prof. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, Ph. D.

Vice-Dean for Financial and Material Affairs

  • Project ideas are the result of creative thinking and research, while their implementation depends on the project management skills and a bit of luck. The art of leadership is to enable and harmonise it all.

    Full Prof. Blaženka Divjak, Ph.D.

Full Professor with Tenure at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics and founder of the Centre for International Projects

  • Institutional support is the necessary prerequisite but the success of the projects mostly depends on the project team. Firstly, it is a project leader whose role is fulfilled if she is ready to create and recognise innovative project ideas, motivate others to want, dream, learn, work and achieve more. Within such environment even an unsuccessful project application is - a success.

    Amir Spahić, M.Inf.

First Head of the Centre for International Projects

  • Successful projects are those that have dedicated and competent project teams, a leader with the knowledge and credibility, strong goal orientation, well planning and quality implementation of activities and monitoring, clear success criteria, precise planning of incomes and costs, the availability of funding, professional administrative support without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Assoc. Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Ph. D.

Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics

  • A lot has been said about project management. Above all, we talk about talent management, creativity and inspiring people to be the best versions of themselves. The successful project leaders are inspired and they inspire others.
